Mencap is the UK’s leading learning disability charity. Everything we do is about valuing and supporting children and adults with a learning disability, and their families and carers.

People with a learning disability are among the most excluded people in today’s society. Most are treated as ‘different’ and do not have the same control over their own lives as other members of our society.

Mencap believes everyone deserves equal rights and chances. That’s why we fight to change laws and challenge prejudice. And that’s why we provide services, in things like housing, employment, education and personal support that give thousands of people the chance to live their lives as they choose.

What your money can do...

£10 could help a young adult with a learning disability to find their first work placement, which is the first step to leading an independent life.

£15 could pay for a child with a learning disability to attend a specialist workshop to learn sign language, so they can communicate with their family and friends.

£25 can pay for 15 children with e learning disability to receive Mencap’s Don’t Stick it, Stop it anti bullying pack.
